Fire raging since night in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area, 40 vehicles of fire brigade engaged in controlling it for 12 hours

A fire broke out in the Bhagirath Place area of ​​Chandni Chowk in Delhi around 9:20 last night. The fire could not be completely controlled yet. More than 50 shops have been gutted in the fire that raged throughout the night.

The administration says that the fire has been brought under control to a great extent. However, the fire has not yet been completely extinguished. Due to the narrow streets, the fire department is facing a lot of difficulty in controlling the fire.

Since last night, more than 40 fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot. More than 150 fire brigade personnel are engaged in extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be known. There is a lot of crowd in the market and the streets here are very narrow.

Parts of many buildings are continuously collapsing due to the fire. In the area where the fire broke out, there are not only shops but also godowns. A large quantity of electrical goods are kept in these godowns.

No one has been reported injured in the fire so far.
